How do you play?
Grand Saga is a low-commitment, seasonal campaign where the individual scores from your matches add to the collective might of your chosen house. Every week your instructor submits your results to the Grand Saga campaign portal. You can read the Grand Saga ruleset here.
How do I organise a team?
If you're an instructor or you represent a sporting organisation and would like to join us, submit a Guild Master registration form here. We'll provide you with free training and resources to get started. You can begin at any time during the season and can submit your results at the end of each week!
how does it work?
First, our campaign manager designs a campaign set in Hyperion. The Archons or house managers then decide every 3 weeks which outposts and districts to assault. Local club instructors then organise official matches between registered players and record the match results. If you win, your score helps your house secure more territory!
What if I join later in the season?
If you join after a season begins, you will not be able to pledge allegiance to any one house, however, you can still contribute your match results as a mercenary. Mercenaries receive different achievements from acolytes and can contribute to any scheduled match.
Do I need any equipment?
Generally, clubs and instructors will provide you with some equipment to get started. However, we recommend all students aspire to have their own equipment. The exact gear you need will depend on your club's ruleset. If you'd like to buy your own equipment though just visit the Armoury. We also have club packs if you need more gear for your students.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost for instructors. However, we ask all participants to register with the Saber Academy platform using the Online or In-person Training subscription. Your subscription enables us to manage the campaign and training platform. You'll also get to record your career stats, gain XP and unlock rewards and achievements. You can register by following the link here.
How old do you have to be?
This will depend on your club's rules for participation. Generally, participants have to be at least 10 years of age to join. More importantly, participants must be tall enough to meet any armour requirements and be able to follow any safety instructions. Check the specific campaign for any age or equipment requirements.
Help, I'm a beginner!
That's ok! Your instructor will guide you on how to play. You can also gain additional training with us through the Saber Academy platform. If you're not yet part of a club then we can mentor you on how to start your own faction and start battling.
How many matches do i need to do?
You can contribute as many or as little matches as you prefer. However, the more matches you contribute, the more achievements you'll unlock. Participants who register at the beginning of the tournament and complete the season will also receive a limited edition medal for the campaign.

Yes! Share your photos or a video link with us and we can feature these in the match article.
Can we use the Grand Saga Futura cards?
Yes! Some Grand Saga Campaigns have been specifically designed to work with the Grand Saga Futura Card game. Check the campaign format for 'Open Ruleset' or 'Futura Ruleset Only' to identify whether the campaign is open to all rulesets or is intended for Futura games only.
